Press Release
CONSTANT BACK-AND-FORTH LEADS TO TIE GAME AT CENTRE ICE RINK
HARRINGTON, DE - March 6, 2006
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
On Sunday evening, Stover Homes’ “Outlaws” and the “Mad Dogs”—two of The Centre’s bronze league teams—played with skill and might not allowing the other to gain more than a one-point lead throughout the game.
In the first period, the Outlaws’ Keith Younus (assist: Petr Lyseil) struck first, but was soon answered by the Mad Dogs’ Robert Genova (assist: Sean King). During the second period, the Mad Dogs’ goalie, Joseph Subrick, held back all attempts while Sean King made an assisted power-play.
At the top of the third, the Outlaws’ Tom Lathcart (assist: Dan Matta) struck first and the team followed with another moments later. The Mad Dogs’ Chris Good, with less than four minutes to spare, made a final short-handed goal—a goal that would prove to be an equalizer offering a tie game (3-3).
