SILVER LEAGUE'S 'TITANS' LIVE UP TO THEIR NAME

HARRINGTON, DE - April 10, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Confucius say, “Team who strikes first and last, wins game.” Such was true on Thursday as the Titans managed a five-point lead over C.F. Schwartz.

Thirty seconds into the game, the Titans’ William Hamilton (assist: 20) struck the first goal of the first period. The goal was answered seconds later by C.F. Schwartz’s James Lattanzi (assist: Angus Patterson). C. F. Schwartz’s Thomas Weekes (assist: Lattanzi) went on to score another goal.

C.F. Schwartz’s one-point advantage at the end of the first period was misleading as the Titans dominated the second period with goals from #5 and Robert Betts.

At the top of the third period, the Titans continued their strong-hold with a goal from Hamilton; however, it was quickly answered by two from C.F. Schwartz’s Lattanzi (assists: Angus Patterson, Weekes) and Jamie Garrison (assists: Lattanzi, Weekes) to tie the game (4-4). The threat of losing the game kicked the Titans into high gear as goalie, Joe Alvarado, would protect the net for the last ten minutes and the team managed to score five goals in the final minutes offering the Titans the (9-4) win.
