MAD DOGS BITTEN BY SHARKS ON THE ICE

HARRINGTON, DE - October 12, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

It was a rather foggy night on Wednesday, but for those who ventured out to The Centre Ice Rink, they witnessed an impressive ice hockey game as the Seafood City “Sharks” bared their razor sharp teeth-like blades and took a bite out of the “Mad Dogs”.

The Sharks were the first to score when Corey Bourque (assist: Daryl Nashold) sank one deep into the net—a foreshadowing of what was to come. Later in the period, teammate Danny Triesler (assist: Bourque) scored on a power play. The Sharks continued to keep a strong hold on the puck in the second period as they scored three more times with goals from: Nashold (assist: Bourque), Bradley Orvis (assist: Sean King), and Triesler (assist: Nashold). The game was beginning to look like a complete shutout, when, at the top of the third period, Garrett Atz (assist: Mark Sordi) of the Mad Dogs forced one past the Shark’s goalie for what would be the only goal for his team. The Sharks put two more in, with goals by Bob Genova (assists: Nashold, King) and King (assists: Genova, Bourgue)…taking a chunk out of the Mad Dogs pride. The final score the game was Sharks 7, Mad Dogs 1.
