Press Release
RATHER THAN THE FOUR CORNERS OF THE EARTH, THE TITANS RULED THE CENTRE ICE RINK
HARRINGTON, DE - October 19, 2006
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
In Greek mythology, the Titans, also known as the elder gods, ruled the Earth. Likewise, in Sunday night’s Silver League hockey game, the Titans ruled over the Bushmen. A mere three minutes into the game, the Titans grabbed the first goal by David Wilson (assist: Justin Skinner). Closely following behind was teammate William Hamilton, Jr. (assist: Erik Froman) with a short handed goal. The Titans attempted to score again with a penalty shot but were denied, ending the first period. The Titans kept rule over the Bushmen scoring twice within the first few minutes of the second period; goals were made by Wilson (assist: Froman) and Froman (assist: Brian Stanburry). Late in the second period, the Bushmen finally got one in on a power play when Greg Moffitt (assist: Kyle Cresswell) scored. The Titans, still ruling the ice, scored during a power play with a goal again by Froman (assists: Skinner, Hamilton). With 36 seconds left in the game, the Bushmen were able to get one more in by the edge of their blade when Kenneth Meyer (assist: Moffitt) scored on a power play. The Titans truly ruled the ice this game with a final score of 5-2.
