SHARKS THRASH ABOUT AND DEVOUR THE OUTLAWS
HARRINGTON, DE - October 19, 2006

On Wednesday, the Bronze League’s “Outlaws” and the Seafood City “Sharks”. The Outlaws were in their glory as they scored the first two goals at the top of the first period: Peter Lysek (assist: Mark Hoffman) and Keith Younus (assist: Hoffman). However, they didn’t realize the Sharks were circling, getting ready for the kill, even before the end of the first period as Corey Bourque (assist: Genova) scored and was followed by teammate Philip Klineburger, unassisted on a power play. The Sharks continued their streak with a goal from Bourque, unassisted, and another by Daryl Nashold (assists: Klineburger, Bradley Covey). Soon after, Danny Trieslor (assist: Sean King) contributed to the board bringing the score to 5-2, favor of the Sharks. The Sharks remained relentless, even into the third period, as King pulled off an amazing shot, scoring unassisted and short handed. With only thirty-five seconds left in the game, the Sharks’ Kriner (assist: #11) made the final goal, ending the Outlaws’ misery, and grabbing the 7-2 win.
The Centre Ice Rink at the Delaware State Fair in Harrington offers an adult (18+) hockey league; men and women are encouraged to join. The League is USA Hockey certified and Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA) affiliated. Per USA Hockey standards, placement is based on interest, experience and ability.
