TITANS TRAMPLE WOCM 98.1 IN SILVER LEAGUE MATCH

HARRINGTON, DE - October 30, 2006

On Thursday at The Centre Ice Rink, it was “WOCM” 98.1 versus the “Titans” in what looked like an evenly-skilled, but not evenly-matched game, as the Titans hit the ice with only seven players, including their goalie. Erik Froman (assist: Dan Lawson) made a quick move early on and scored first for the Titans. WOCM caught-up fast though with a goal by Angus Patterson (assist: C. Desaulnier). The score remained tied at 1-1 through the end of the period. The second period continued with extreme pressure from both sides. Finally, near the end of the period, Froman, unassisted, slid one right past WOCM’s goalie. WOCM vowed revenge with a goal by Patterson (assist: Jamie Garrison) in what would turn out to be their last goal for the game. In the third period, the Titans attacked with two consecutive goals: the first by William Hamilton Jr. (assists: Froman, Lawson) on a power play and the second by Dan Lawson (assist: Adam Schmidt) on an even play. The rest of the game became a fight—WOCM trying to catch-up and the Titans working to stay on top. Lawson (assist: Hamilton) was given the opportunity and scored again later in the final period. The game ended with a surprising final score of 5-2 in favor of the Titans.
