BUSHMAN BECAME BEST MEN

On Tuesday, the “Bushman” took on the “Titans” in The Centre Ice Rink’s Silver League division. Both teams played aggressively requiring top performances from both goalies and several pucks given that players kept shooting over the glass. In the first period, the Bushman’s Hasan Wilson (assist: Lou Patriquin) scored first and maintained the lead for the remainder of the period. In the second period, both teams were able to net a puck: the Bushman scored again with goal by Mitchell Arion (assists: Charlie Frasso, Patriquin). Erik Froman (assists: Dan Lawson, William Hamilton, Jr.), of the Titans, was able to get one past the goalie. The Bushman pressed on, scoring again before the end of the period to bring the score to 3-1. In the third period, the Titans’ Lawson (assist: Froman) shot an amazing and unexpected goal right into the net; however, in the last seven seconds of the game, the Bushman struck back sliding a puck right past the goalie giving the Bushman the 4-2 win over the Titans.
