FIRST PERIOD OFFENSE CARRIED OUTLAWS TO 5-2 WIN OVER JL EAGLES

HARRINGTON, DE - November 16, 2006

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

On Wednesday night at The Centre Ice Rink, the Bronze League’s Buffalo Wild Wings’ “Outlaws” took on Jonathan Landing’s “JL Eagles”. Roughly five minutes into the game, the Outlaws took an offensive position grabbing three back-to-back goals—two of which were from Keith Younus (assists: Mark Hoffman [2], Ray McCloskey [1]) and one from Joe Wobeter (assist: Adam Schmidt). JL Eagles’ Christopher Good (assists: James DiDonato, David Schreffler) finally answered with the team’s first goal; however, the Outlaws’ Keith Younus (assist: Andrew Dahlke) scored a hat trick on a power play. Not long after, JL Eagles’ Paul Butler (assist: James Rau) took advantage of a power play resulting in a first period score of 4-2 in favor of the Outlaws.

Exciting goaltending and several bell ringers off the post made for an almost scoreless second period with the exception of the one goal scored by the Outlaws’ Daniel Matta (assist: Wobeter).

Due to spectacular goaltending, not one puck made it into a net during the final period.

Both goaltenders had several great saves throughout the game with 53 shots between the two teams. JL Eagles’ goaltender, Joe Worts, had 25 saves while the Outlaws’ goaltender, Joseph Subrick, had 21 saves.
