TITANS TRIUMPH OVER WOCM 98.1 BULLDOGS

HARRINGTON, DE - January 12, 2007

Thursday night's game started out normal between the Titans and WOCM 98.1 Bulldogs, but quickly escalated into a highly intense battle. WOCM kept possession of the puck at the start of the game, putting pressure on the Titans’ defense, which proved to be resilient. Titans Dave Sawicki got a little too excited, made a nice attempt, followed through too far going right into the net. Sadly, his attempt was unsuccessful, however, #23 (assists: Eric Froman and Adam Schmidt) was able to make the first goal of the game. Early in the 2nd period, the Titans’ Dave Wilson (assists: Froman and #15) came out head strong pulling their lead to 2-0 on a power play. That changed shortly there after as James Lattanzi (assist: Jeff Desaulniers) of WOCM 98.1 lit up the scoreboard. The game became intense as 98.1 had two players in the box and the Titans one. The Titans’ Wilson (assist: Froman) got lucky on a power play for a score of 4-1. The Titans’, barely into the 3rd, Wilson (assists: Froman and William Hamilton Jr.) scored nicely. Trying for a comeback moment later, Thomas Weeks of 98.1 scored solo to bring the score to 6-2. The Titans were unstoppable as #21 (assist: Alastair Probert) slide one right in. 98.1 refused to just lie down and Angus Patterson (assists: Weeks and Chris Sloan). The game ended with a pile up in the net, some frustrated players, but a happy Titan team.
