TITANS WIN OVER THE BUSHMEN

Thursday Nights Game at The Centre Ice Rink - Titans vs. Bushmen.

Titans Take it!
In the battle against the Bushmen, it was evident early in the game just who was in command. Titan’s Erik Froman made a nice steal than turned around to score unassisted. The Titans laid it on thick, bringing Bushmen goalie William Gallion to his knees quite a few times. He wasn’t the only one though, and as the clock ran down the Bushmen took their turn to attack. The Titans were able to hold on to their 1-0 lead into the second period. The period began slowly however as players enjoyed icing the puck. Finally, a Bushmen broke free and they were off again. Bushmen Hasan Wilson took the puck and was going all the way until Titan Dave Wilson jumped in for a steal. He succeeded in the steal, but soon the puck was back in Bushmen control. The game continued into the third period with the Titans still in power. That would soon be ever more so as Dave Sawicki (assist: Darren Curtis), last nights star player for the Mad Dogs, came to the rescue giving the Titans another up. The Titan rein persisted with a third goal by Matt Funston unassisted. Titans, grinning with their shut out victory, perhaps began to celebrate too early and in doing so Ken Meyer (assists: Mitch Arion and Greg Moffitt) was able to slide one in off a rebound. The Bushmen were too far behind for a turn around and the Titans won 3-1.
