TUESDAY NIGHTS GAME ENDS IN A TIE BETWEEN THE TITANS AND DOGFISH HEAD

Titans vs. Dogfish Head

Tonight’s game was continuously fast paced, highly energized, and intense. It started off with Dogfish Jeremy Sheppard getting the puck and attempting from the blue line; sadly it was denied. Someone lost a pad, just adding another obstacle to pass in order to score. The first goal was finally made half-way through by Dogfish Mike Irish (assist: Tony Ruggerio). The Titans, form almost triangles, working as a team, for passing; they attempt, but are constantly denied by goalie Sean Cannon. The start of the second period was a good one for Mike Irish (assists: Matt Fuller and Sheppard) who scored 30 seconds in. The second period proved to be as active as the first. Titan goalie Joe Alvarado really got a work out tonight, as the Dogfish team pretty much pelted him with the puck. Most of the period remained in stalemate though, and the score remained at 2-0 until Titans began their comeback. Titans’ Erick Froman (assists: Steve Judge and Bob Betts) started the turn around and Doren Curtis (assists: Judge, William Hamilton, and Eric Froman) quickly followed to score back to back at first tying the score, than taking the lead. In the 3rd period Dogfish struck back with a nice goal by Pat Regan (assist: Fuller) to tie the score 3-3. Dogfish Irish (assist: Ruggerio and Sheppard) slipped one in a minute later to keep fans on the edge of their seats. Titan Froman (assists: Hamilton and Wilson) tied the score 4-4 and the Dogfish team called a time out to strategize. They came back for the final two minutes of the game with a man down. Both teams never allowed their guard to fall and the clock ran down leaving the game tied.
