Titans vs. WOCM 98.1 Bulldogs

In the beginning the Titans displayed some nice passing action, keeping the puck moving as well as the WOCM players. First to score was WOCM Thomas Weekes, unassisted coming straight from a corner face off. Minutes later Titan Erik Froman (assist: William Hamilton) tied up the score. The second period started off with the Titans short handed, then even with WOCM, followed by a switch as the WOCM ended up being down by one. The Titans, eager for another goal, piled on the attempts, but were unsuccessful. The tension grew as the teams stayed tied 1-1. WOCM’s Weekes came through again unassisted on a short handed play, and then seconds later turned around and did it again for a lead of 3-1. The Titans, with fire now lit under them, put some pressure and lost a player to the box. Finally, Froman (assists: Darren Curtis and Lion Gardner), with less than 2 minutes left in the period, started to bring back the Titans. Then both teams came out strong and powerful for the last period. Titans, not going down with out a fight, scored a goal by Froman (assist: Curtis and Robert Betts) to tie 3-3. Froman, the Titan’s man of the night, scored unassisted shortly after to give his team the lead, followed by Steve Judge (assist: Adam Schmidt) to ensure that lead. WOCM player Angus Patterson stuck back with a goal of his own to bump the score to 5-4. But the Titans were on a roll as Gardner (assist: Curtis) scored smoothly on a power play and #7 (assists: Steve Judge and Betts) put one in with ease to end the game. The Titans were victorious and took over the 3rd period for a final score of 7-4.
