The Bushmen Brutal, but Titans Take Over!

Thursday Night’s Game in the Silver Division

The Bushmen vs. Titans

The Bushmen started the game off lucky as the Titans made a close attempt, but not close enough. Seconds later, The Bushmen turned it around to score with a goal by Mitchell Arion (assist: Tim Doyle). Really playing well tonight, both teams had good attitudes and stayed off the walls. The Titan players helped the goalies as they denied the puck on both sides. Hasan Wilson of the Bushmen team then went down after getting hit in an attempt to steal the puck, while Dave Wilson of the Titan team drove a hard attack (along with the rest of the Titan team). The period ended with the Bushmen defending their 1-0 lead and without any penalties. Persistent and determined, Titans regain some ice with a goal by Erik Froman (assists: Adam Schmidt and William Hamilton). The second period was spiced up as players were eager to win. The Titans continued to control the game with great break a ways, the Bushmen goalie ready for them though. A Bushmen player quickly challenged the goalie, but he “laid” down the law with a nice full body stop as Titans' Alastair Probert struggled to rescue their goalie from an endless torrent of pucks. With 33 seconds left in the period, Steve Judge (assist: Wilson) slide one in nicely to give the lead to the Titans. The third period consisted of adamant Bushmen and relentless Titans. William Gallion was able to take a nice, semi-long break and the Bushmen kept in control of the puck. In the last few minutes of the game the Titans steal and score with goals by William Hamilton (assist: Lion Gardner) and Steve Judge (assist: Erik Froman). The game ended with a final score of 4-1 to the dismay of the hard playing Bushmen, but to the delight of the Titans.
