Albeit Dogfish Head’s Steve Cannon (assist: Pat Regan) made the first goal, the remainder of the game belonged to the Bushmen. The Bushmen tied-up the first period with a goal from #4 (assist: #10). The Bushmen maintained a strong-hold through the second period by blocking any attempts from Dogfish Head while scoring four: #4 (assist: #19), Chris Fahey (assist: John Dowgos, #88), #12 (unassisted/shorthand), and #4 (unassisted) on a PowerPlay.

In the final period, the Bushmen held the lead by scoring two: #5 (assist: John Dowgos, #4) and John Dowgos (unassisted). The final score was 7-1 in favor of the Bushmen.

The Centre Ice Rink at the Delaware State Fair in Harrington offers an adult (18+) hockey league; men and women are encouraged to join. The League is USA Hockey certified and Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association (AAHA) affiliated. Per USA Hockey standards, placement is based on interest, experience and ability. The Silver Division is designed for those players who have played organized hockey. The depth of talent is usually consistent throughout the roster and characterized by talented, heads-up play.
