IT'S A NEW YEAR'S EVE "SKATE-A-BRATION"

2005 will end in sparkling delight as The Centre Ice Rink continues its annual New Year's Eve celebration.

According to Tricia Southard, public relations and marketing director for the Delaware State Fair, The Centre will host a New Year's Eve Skate on December 31 from 9:00 p.m. until 12:30 a.m. Southard noted that rather than witnessing the sparkle of champagne, skaters will notice the sparkle of the ice as lights adorn the NHL-size rink in a non-alcohol, family-friendly environment.

Southard said, "The Centre Ice Rink offers the perfect backdrop for families to celebrate the New Year's holiday. It's a safe environment with plenty to do and munchies too."
